* 其實從數位網路革命的角度來看，也絕對是傳統媒體每況愈下的原因之一。但這邊就試圖從台灣經濟現況－－其實也就是「中等收入陷阱」，來思考台灣媒體沉淪之因。

我感覺台灣目前的現況，是集體過勞。一個過勞的人，即便他智商、情商原本都不錯，但在這種狀況之下，他的判斷力、執行力、眼光視野，全部都會下降。

I feel there has been a situation lasting in Taiwan for a long time, which is collective overworking. Even if one has average level of IQ and EQ, both of them will diminish a lot if one is under the situation of overworking. It will diminish one's judgment, execution, eyesight as well.

所以，我們的企業才會無良、我們的政府才會腦殘，而人民也困於過勞狀態，沒有空閒時間思考如何應變。整個國家都處於一種過勞欲死的崩潰邊緣。

Therefore, our public sector become idiot, our private sector become brutal. Since all of our brains are squeezed out, we're even unable to think about fighting back. This makes the people almost dead, and the country almost collapse, after overworking.

台灣媒體的崩壞或許也是非戰之罪。因為網路革命則導致他的潛在利基都變薄了；但為了滿足他的僅存受眾：這些還會看電視的台灣人（排除掉會上網的年輕人、較有條件能學習新科技的中老年知識階層），他只好選擇播放他們想要看的節目。

The sink of Taiwan's media may not be their own fault. They've already faced the threat of internet revolution. In order to serve their remaining customers better (they lose all youths, and those elder bourgeoisie who is able to learn new technologies), they choose to play what they will like.

然而，當一個人過勞而疲累的時候，他不會關心國家民生、他不會關心世界變化、他只會想看綜藝節目來讓自己放鬆。所以，所有電視節目都無腦綜藝化了。

However, when a labor is tired a lot due to overwork, he won't care about the future of the country or the outside world, he will just need to relax. That's why we see all kinds of programs on TV become stupid variety shows, including news.
